These are the best AI courses to make money that I’d actually recommend — ranked, with the cost and who each one isn’t for stated plainly. Five of the nine are completely free, and I’ve been honest about the fact that I built most of them.
The short list
- AI Profit Boardroom — the full system plus weekly coaching (paid)
- Free AI Course + Community — best free starting point
- SEO Elite Circle — for agency owners scaling an SEO offer
- Plus four free full-length courses on YouTube and my free link building book
How I ranked these
Every course on this list is judged on one question: do you finish it with something running that a business would pay for?
That rules out most of what gets marketed as an AI course. Tool tours age badly — a walkthrough of forty tools is worthless the moment the tools change. Systems survive.
- Does it leave you with a working system? Not notes. Something running.
- Is it current? AI material from a year ago is often actively wrong now.
- Is the teacher doing the work? Or just teaching it.
- Is there help when you get stuck? Most people quit at the first error, not the first hard concept.
- Is there a clear route to income? Skills that businesses already pay for, not skills that are interesting.
Fair warning before the list: I built most of these. I’m not going to pretend otherwise, and I’ve marked exactly what each one costs and who it isn’t for. Four of the nine are completely free.
1. AI Profit Boardroom — the full system, plus people to ask
Cost: Paid · Best for: Anyone who wants the finished system rather than to build it themselves
This is where my Agent OS lives — the actual system I run my business on, not a stripped-down teaching version. You get the install file, the prompts, the memory setup and the workflows for SEO, content, outreach, video and automation.
What makes it the top pick isn’t the material, it’s the two things courses normally lack: it’s updated daily, and there are weekly coaching calls where you share your screen and get unstuck in real time. Most people don’t fail on concepts. They fail on an error message at 11pm with nobody to ask.
There are 3,000+ members, and I personally answer questions in there every day. Members range from complete beginners to agency owners, coaches and ecommerce founders — and there are 200+ pages of member wins if you want to read what people have actually built.
Not for you if: you want to learn the fundamentals slowly from scratch. Start with number 2 instead, then come here when your bottleneck is speed rather than information.
2. Free AI Course + Community — the best free starting point
Cost: Free · Best for: Complete beginners who want to test whether this is for them
A full AI course, a community, and 1,000+ AI agents — at no cost. This is genuinely where I’d send someone who has never touched this stuff.
The reason it’s ranked second rather than first isn’t quality, it’s depth. It will get you from nothing to building. It won’t hand you the full operating system.
Work through it, build one thing, and you’ll know within a fortnight whether you want to go deeper. That’s a much better use of two weeks than buying something first.
Not for you if: you’re already running agents and want the advanced system. Skip to number 1.

3. SEO Elite Circle — for agency owners and serious SEO
Cost: Paid · Best for: People selling SEO services who want to scale
This one is narrower on purpose. It’s the mastermind for SEO mastery and agency growth — pricing, positioning, delivery, scaling a team.
If your route to money is selling SEO to clients, this is the one that maps directly onto revenue, because it deals with the business problems rather than the tooling.
Not for you if: you don’t have an SEO offer yet. Build the skill first, then come here to sell it properly.
4. How to Build Agent OS — Free Course — a full hour, free on YouTube
Cost: Free · Best for: Anyone who wants to build the system themselves
Just under an hour, no cost, no email required. It walks through building an agent operating system — the brain, mission control and memory layers — which is the single highest-leverage thing you can set up.
If you’d rather build than buy, this is the honest answer to “can I just do it myself?” Yes. This is how.

5. Hermes Full Course — 2 hours 11 minutes, free
Cost: Free · Best for: Learning the agent I use most
Hermes is the free, open-source agent I run daily. This is the complete course on it — build and automate anything, start to finish.
Pair it with a free API setup and the whole stack costs you nothing. I’ve covered that in the free API for Hermes Agent and the local model setup.
6. Claude Code Full Course — over 3 hours, free
Cost: Free · Best for: Building tools and automations that actually ship
Three hours on Claude Code, free. This is the one that turns “I use AI to write things” into “I use AI to build things”, which is a much shorter path to something sellable.
It’s also the foundation for the SEO skill I run — see my Claude AI SEO skill if you want the content angle specifically.
7. Hermes + OpenClaw AI Agents Course — 5 hours, free
Cost: Free · Best for: Going deep on multi-agent setups
Five hours covering both agents and how to make them work together. This is the deep end, and it’s free.
Worth it once you’ve got one agent running and you want a team of them rather than a single assistant.

8. Link Building Mastery — the book, free
Cost: Free · Best for: The SEO side of making money online
My best-selling link building book, free. SEO is still one of the most reliable things to sell, and links are still what decides most competitive rankings.
Not an AI course strictly, but if your route to income is SEO services, this is the skill you charge for.
9. Free SEO Strategy Session — skip the learning entirely
Cost: Free call · Best for: People who want the result, not the skill
Worth saying plainly: not everyone should learn this. If you run a business and you want traffic and leads rather than a new skill, buying the outcome is the rational move.
That’s what my agency does. Book a free session and we’ll map out a plan — pricing depends on your goals and competition, so there’s no fixed starting figure.
Not for you if: you want to build this as your own business. Then you want number 1.

- Never touched AI? Number 2, then number 4. Both free. Give it two weeks.
- Got an agent running but it’s messy? Number 4, then number 1 when you want the finished version.
- Want to sell services fast? Number 8 for the skill, number 3 for the business side.
- Want to build tools and automations? Number 6, then number 7.
- Don’t want to learn any of it? Number 9.

The part no course can do for you
A course doesn’t make money. Implementation makes money. Every person I’ve watched go from beginner to earning followed the same unglamorous sequence:
- Pick one problem businesses already pay to solve — content, leads, SEO, support.
- Build the system once, for yourself. Your own site, your own outreach. That becomes the proof.
- Show the result, not the tool. Nobody buys “I use Claude”.
- Sell the outcome to someone with a budget. One client beats ten more tutorials.
- Systematise so the second one costs less than the first.
Only step one is learning. The money is in steps two to five, which is exactly why collecting courses feels productive and pays nothing.
And be sceptical of anything promising a specific income figure on a timeline. Nobody can promise that, because it depends on your niche, your effort and your market. I’m not going to insult you by pretending otherwise.

FAQ
What are the best AI courses to make money?
The AI Profit Boardroom for the full system with live support, the free AI course and community as a starting point, and the SEO Elite Circle if you’re scaling an agency. Four free full-length courses on this list cover the technical side at no cost.
Are there genuinely free options?
Yes — five of the nine here cost nothing, including multi-hour courses on Hermes, Claude Code and building an agent OS, plus the free community and the book.
Which AI skill pays fastest?
Done-for-you services — SEO, content or automation for businesses that already have a budget. It’s the shortest path from skill to invoice.
Do I need to be technical?
No. These are mostly configuration and process rather than coding. Plenty of members had never used AI before setting up their first agent.
How long before I make anything?
It depends entirely on your niche, effort and whether you actually sell. Anyone quoting a specific figure on a timeline is guessing.
Should I pay for a course straight away?
No. Start with the free ones, build one working system, and only pay when your bottleneck is support and speed rather than information.
What’s the biggest mistake people make?
Collecting courses instead of shipping. Learning feels like progress and pays nothing. Build one thing and sell it before buying the next course.
Can I do this alongside a full-time job?
Yes, and most people start that way. Pick one narrow problem, build one system, get one client.
The bottom line
The best AI courses to make money are the ones that leave you with a working system and someone to ask when it breaks — which is why the free community and the free full-length courses on this list are a genuinely good place to start, and the Boardroom is where to go when you want the finished system rather than to build it yourself.
